Volunteer

Do you have a skill that you would like to share? Do you have a favorite hobby or a passion that you would like to share with others? There are countless ways in which to volunteer – chances are if you have a skill or a hobby, there is a way to share your passion with others through volunteering.

Our volunteers come from all over our community — Crosby Scholars, college students, employees of local companies, church groups and the United Way. When you give your time, you get back something amazing in return: The feeling that you are helping families in your community achieve financial well-being!

Administrative/Office Work

Many organizations require volunteers for office administration. Potential activities can include reception and administrative work, typing, filing, making followup calls, computing, managing a committee and helping out at busy times with publicity campaigns and fundraising drives.

Events and Stewarding

Events and stewarding volunteers are often the face of events and community gatherings, provide a warm welcome to event attendees helping to ensure events run smoothly and safely.
