Youth Financial Planning

Ladajah Henley (right) seals the deal after a simulated car purchase from volunteer Karen Daebelliehn at the Real World Event on Thursday at Piney Grove Enrichment Center. The event helped teach financial literacy to about 250 teenagers and young adults. More than 100 volunteers from 14 local agencies worked stations focusing on jobs, groceries, transportation, insurance, utilities, entertainment and taxes.
